It was shocking to me as well but as I read more and more I understood the rule. You can't quit on any food group. To have a well balanced diet you have to eat all of them in good proportions.

That's true. Nutritional fat and fat inside your body are two different things. Your body treats fats as a source of energy (similarly to carbs). If you don't use the energy it'll be stored in your fat storage "for later". But the same thing happens with carbs.
The thing is that fats are high in calories. One g of fat = 9 kcal compared to carbs or protein (both are around 4kcal) it's a lot. So eating fat foods can make you fat but not because you're eating fat but because you're eating too much of it. Everything is healthy in moderation (well except trans-fats - they're the work of the devil)

Dieta's last blog post..Quiz - wybierz diet? dla Ciebie

It is the truth! People who stop eating all together end up just getting fat, your body will lock up and hold onto everything it has. Fat is what makes muscle, therefor you need fat to make muscle!

In the beginning of your post you blast my mind like a dynamite. I was shocked to read that how we can reduce fats but eating them more. Explanation refrain me to blast and am happy to know the solution.
