For my patients and me, it is all about eating 5 to 6 reasonable meals per day-- and making sure that the first one is your first real &quot;activity&quot; of the day. The machine must be fueled. And, the fuel must be a notable amount of protein (for durable and dependable energy... and to jumpstart your metabolism). You must eat breakfast before you can do ANYTHING effectively. If you do not eat breakfast to break the nighttime cycle, your body also thinks that you are still &quot;fasting&quot; and you are metabolically inefficient-- conserving fat, instead of mobilizing (releasing) it.
