They need a proper diet that will leave them energized and able to perform their best throughout the entire game.Foods high in carbohydrates will provide athletes with the energy their muscles need.Weight-bearing exercises can strengthen bones, but only if there is enough calcium in the diet.Young athlete must eat canned fish (sardines, salmon with bones) soybeans and other soy products (soy-based beverages, soy yogurt, tempeh), some other dried beans, and some leafy greens (collard and turnip greens, kale, bok choy).</description>
