One More Reason Not To Smoke
Researchers at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine have found that smokers are four times as likely to be tired when they wake up and they also spend less time in deep sleep than nonsmokers. The researchers state that the effects may be time-dependent. The nicotine creates difficulty falling asleep, and later in the night withdrawals from nicotine may interfere with deep sleep.
Smoking has got to be one of the worst things you can do for your body. There is so much evidence against it, and this just adds one more to the pile.
