Cardio Workout

This will be my last workout post until I change my workouts. I don’t plan to do cardio on all non-weight training days; however, I will add it in as I have the time. I plan to do my cardio sessions as interval training after weight training.

I started off with 20 minutes of elliptical training at a steady pass and finished it off with a short kettlebell workout. I did 3 sets of 10 on two arm swings and 2 sets of 10 on each arm with one arm swings. This is not a difficult kettlebell session; however, I am just getting back into it and wanted to take it easy.

I find kettlebell workouts to be one of the best for muscular endurance and ballistic strength. This type of workout is perfect for martial artists.  I used to do kettlebell training 3 times per week when I practiced martial arts, and I found it to be extremely beneficial.
